I’m a visiting artist who knows art education from the inside.

With nearly 30 years as an international school art teacher — in Hong Kong, Beijing, Mumbai, and Casablanca — I design residencies and workshops that do more than inspire students. They strengthen your program. Whether I’m leading a multi-day studio project connecting personal expression to global themes, or facilitating PD for your art faculty, I arrive knowing how international schools think, how IB programs work, and what it actually takes to embed meaningful creative experiences into a curriculum.

I’m based in Hong Kong, passport in hand, and currently booking residencies for the 2026–27 school year.

Single-day Workshop  |  HK$4000  |  ~ $500USD

Three- day residency  |  HK$18000  |  ~ $2300USD

Standard 5-day residency  |  HK$30000  |  ~$3800USD

Extended 10-day residency  |  HK$60000  |  ~$7600USD

PD only (half day)   |  HK$4000  |  ~500USD

  • All flights, transfers, and visas (if needed) at cost if outside HK
  • School arranged accommodation if outside of HK
  • All materials and supplies at cost

Pre-visit planning time – flat project design retainer of HK$3,000 billed before the visit, which also serves as a commitment fee.

Cancellation policy —  a 50% non-refundable deposit on booking.

We learned a LOT about how we can create a better curriculum and tie in what 21st century, international, and global citizens should be learning. When we do this as art teachers it is way more powerful to the learner because they are able use this in any area they explore later.

Wow, so much value. Beginning with our discussion of what excites us about art was terrific. Sometimes we get so caught up in the “doing” we forget about the why. He framed up the discussion with what we want students to learn and connected this to helping our students develop into capable, creative people (our end purpose)

As a former art teacher myself, I know it is not always easy to find a visiting artist, who along with their artistic expertise, knows how to work and communicate effectively with kids and teachers. 

My experience as an artist, combined with my nearly 30 years as a teacher, allow me to structure art projects which inspire and engage students in activities which also meet your curriculum objectives.
